Big company is looking for Senior Electrical Engineer
Main Function within Department
Provide technical and organizational expertise to the project to ensure technical adequacy of electrical engineering. To give technical support to less experienced engineers if appropriate.
Responsibilities
To carry out the design of electrical engineering components of a project or proposal as assigned.
To produce/assist in providing project specifications, formulating technical content of requisitions, approval of vendor data and relevant Company drawings and documents.
To refer to the Lead Engineer on corrective action as necessary within the team, project or with suppliers to ensure contract compliance.
Compliance with all project instructions and company procedures.
To ensure any changes in design against project contracts are notified to the Lead Engineer.
Report on a regular basis on all matters affecting technical problems to the Lead Engineer.
Must be familiar with working in an ISO 9001 Quality Assurance environment and implementing the requirements of that system.
Provides technical assistance at vendors’ works during functional testing or site at start-up if this appropriate to the project.
Qualifications
Degree qualified in an engineering discipline.
Chartered Engineer.
Significant experience in engineering on multi-discipline projects including substantial experience in an engineering discipline lead role.
Field engineering experience would be an asset.
The Engineering Manager role requires solid organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills with the knowledge and experience to execute the technical scope of multi-discipline projects.
