Reports to Ecology Manager
Astana Kazakhstan (Possible change to Atyrau if conditions allow it)
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
· Execute the identification, assessment and management of emissions, wastes, discharges, impacts and risks associated with the projects under development and during operations on behalf of Company.
· Coordinate the execution of environmental monitoring, baseline surveys and environmental impact assessments
· Develop and maintain project registers for environmental aspects and compliance commitments
· Assist with identification of BPEO and BAT
· Providing timely input to permit applications, reports to authorities and other regulatory requirements
· Advise engineering teams on how to comply with RoK regulations and permit requirements
· Assist in the development of environmental design philosophy documentation
· Providing technical support to all others Departments with environmental issues as required.

Qualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have:
· MSc (or equivalent) degree in environmental engineering or related subject.
· 10 years’ experience working with engineering in large oil and gas development projects, particularly in offshore and coastal areas.
Kashagan experience, knowledge of working environment etc. is requested
Required Competencies:
The job holder must have:
· Strong interpersonal, written (English) and presentational skills
· Organization skills, with an attention to detail
· Strong self-motivation
· Ability to work with other organisations in an effective influential way
· Working knowledge of relevant regulations, procedures and standards
