The job holder must have:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 10 years of international oil& gas experience both offshore &
onshore
* Experience in HVAC system installation & connection, rotating equipment
packages
• Former CIS experience, work with sour gas and/or arctic environment
Purpose:
To provide Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)engineering technical expertise to the Offshore Hook-up and Installation Group. This comprises coordination of contractors services in the execution of the HVAC design of the offshore facilities – A Island.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for:
• Supervising and directing specialists and the contractor during the installation and the connection of HVAC System and rotating equipment as required for the project.
• Ensure that the Installation and Construction Contractor execute the work in accordance with the approved Design and Project Codes and Standards.
• Participate in process safety management, including hazard identification and HAZOP activities.
• Coordinate and contribute to the resolution of any technical query issued by contractor during the execution of the work.
• Reviewing and keeping updated, the project Basis of Design/Statement of Requirements for the relevant discipline.
• To ensure that all opportunities offered by introduction of new technologies are pursued and evaluated.
• Liase with logistic for the out of gauge equipment
