Senior Maintenance Contracts Engineer (RF citizenship is required) Responsibilities
The Senior Contracts Engineer is responsible for:
- Implement and drive continuous strategic improvement of long term original equipment manufacturer (OEM) service contracts (sole sourced) to the indicative anticipated contract value (ACV) of >$200 million
- Implement and drive continuous strategic improvement Call-off OEM service contracts (sole sourced) to the indicative ACV of $5-10 million
- Implement and drive continuous strategic improvement of Ad-hoc OEM service contracts (sole sourced) to the indicative ACV of $2 million
- Implement and drive continuous strategic improvement of various specialist maintenance contracts (competitively tendered) to the indicative ACV of $2 million
- Implement and drive continuous strategic improvement of Maintenance and Integrity service contracts (competitively tendered) to the indicative ACV of $40 million
- Coordination and cross fertilization of the Maintenance Modification and Services Contracts (MMSC) over the company’s assets.
- Development in conjunction with Head of Maintenance Contracts of contract performance incentive schemes for critical contracts. Manage the periodic measurement and review of contract performance and develop any contract performance improvement plans in consultation with the contractor.
- Development in conjunction with Head of Maintenance Contracts of a robust HSE, technical and commercial audit program in regards to Maintenance contracts.
- Participate in the development of key performance standards, the frequency of audit schedule in regards to measured risk, the management of audit teams and the effective resolution with the contractor with any actions raised.
- Participate in audits and reviews of current maintenance contracts in place with site visits to contractor premises if required.
- Participate in the successful conclusion of any contractual dispute between contractors and the company.
- Support the asset organisations in the development and maintenance of asset specific maintenance and integrity contracts if and when required
- Replace Head of Maintenance Contracts if and when required.
Requirements:
The job envisages that an employee meets the following qualification requirements:
Education:
- Higher professional education in discipline related to Engineering; Maintenance and/or Contracts Management.
- Higher professional education and additional training in Economics and/or Business Administration (desirable)
The minimal previous work experience under the speciality shall be 5 years.
Experience with maintenance contracts in oil and gas
