Job Description:
Design/engineering phase
1. Support development of offshore projects design with mail focus on Platform Life Extension projects.
2. Ensure design/engineering contractor comply with Company standarts, codes and procedures throughout all phases of project design development.
Procurement and tendering phase
1. Provide technical support to Supply Chain Management engineers negotiating suppliers on technical issues – verifying part numbers, specifications, properties etc.
2. Identify spare parts and consumables required for reliable operation of the project mechanical & static equipment.
Construction and comissioning phase
1. Provide effective support to project commissioning on mechanical engineering work
2. As and when required, to assist on Mechanical Field supervision, control and punch listing of all electrical work
Professional skills and competencies
1. Graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. The minimal previous work experience under the speciality shall be 7 years directly relevant experience in oil and gas industry and preferably for offshore facilities .
3. Good written and spoken English.
