Senior petrophysicist
Work location: Moscow
Responsibilities:
• To define log and core acquisition requirements.
• To plan and coordinate log data acquisitions.
• To plan and execute appropriate petrophysical studies to support development and exploration activities.
• To plan and follow through all petrophysical work and laboratory analyses inside and outside the Company.
• To provide petrophysical data for hydrocarbon in place, reserve calculations and reservoir simulation.
• To collaborate with reservoir geologists and reservoir engineers in order to create a coherent and reliable reservoir model.
• To carry out formation evaluation using and integrating all available data: surface logs, logs, cores, well test&fluid analysis data.
• To prepare log and core acquisition programs.
• To follow through log data acquisition and QC data acquired.
• To supervise routine and special core analysis activities, providing the labs with technical specifications and checking that the analyses are correctly carried out.
• To analyze and interpret core analysis results.
• To determine main petrophysical parameters to be used in the petrophysical interpretation.
• To provide petrophysical characteristics of the reservoir for the geological static modelling and for the reservoir modelling activities.
• To support and follow through drilling activity providing lithological, petrophysical and formation fluid information in order to optimize drilling performance.
Requirements:
• 7 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years of petrophysics.
• Basic and advanced log interpretation. Integrated petrophysical interpretation. Instrumental and analytical courses.
• Well Data and core Data management.
• Petrohysical softwares.
