Job Description
1. Project Engineer will work as part of the Offshore Projects Team to create integrated surface facilities and field concepts for our customers (often with the help of contractors);
2. The projects are predominately offshore and onshore brownfields modifications and are managed from opportunity or problem identification through to commissioning, handover to Operations and close-out;
3. Execution of single and multi discipline engineering studies and projects;
4. Management and review of work carried out by external engineering consultants;
5. Systems engineering responsibility. Co-ordinate interfaces amongst major contractors and across project functions;
6. Manage follow-on engineering support for onshore and offshore;
7. Preparation of technical reports due to a great number of the job application areas;
8. Regular observation of the current Projects’ management process and business process;
9. If required compliance verification of project procedures.
Professional Skills and Competences
1. Methods for research and design;
2. Machine engineering, chemical production, production technology, in particular:
- production system optimisation;
- onshore facilities operation;
3. Have a sound familiarity of construction and commissioning techniques.
4. Be suitably qualified and experienced to ensure that the Integrity requirements are: managed, implemented, maintained and supported throughout the assets lifecycle.
5. Standards, specifications and other guiding materials for development and execution of technical documentation;
6. Spoken and written English.
