Qualification I · Mechanical Engineer (HND), Graduate of Technical High School of Engineering.
Experience – Industry · Oil and Gas industry – minimum 15 years (or experience in similar industry)/10 years of EPC industrial construction experience required
Experience - Speciality · Senior level professional with extensive international in EPC, Construction Management, Site Supervision and Inspection of Field Engineering.
· Project Management and QA/QC Controls, Directing and Inspection of Sub-contractors, Labour supervision.
· Home office interface, Scheduling, Cost Controls and Estimate analysis, Fabrication-Shop drawings, Work Orders and Client liaison.
· Recognized for excellent perception and ability of handling local Contractors in engineering, construction and maintenance of infrastructures for Petrochemical Plants, Refineries, Storage facilities, Distribution terminals, pressure water injection facilities, Gas. Site Superintendent, Construction Manager and Project Eng. Coord. for Construction as well as Maintenance Companies
Responsibilities · Assume all responsibility with respect to the whole series of construction operations of the project. Ensure the correct termination of the construction in accordance with the design specifications and the quality regulations and codes. Head of the Construction Organisation, according to previously established regulations and quality assurance / control procedures, development of the work, programs and budgets.
· Responsible for the establishment of the Environment, Safety and Health Rules and Regulations. Ensure that before the work begins, each subcontractor presents their Safety Plan and above all that work does not commence without the each subcontractor’s Safety Co-ordinator.
Responsibilities · Responsible for the establishment of good public and internal relations among the personnel in his charge and for maintaining suitable discipline and morale, by stimulating a climate of true cooperation among the different departments.
· Responsible for maintaining suitable personnel levels both in number and quality.
· Responsible for compliance with the Quality Assurance Plan of the project. To collaborate in its preparation whenever necessary.
· He must be perfectly aware of the terms of the contract established both with the subcontractors and with the Customer, and the conditions and requirements of the project as regards its scope, any changes and extra work.
· Participate during the performance of the engineering project in drawing up the basic planning of the construction.
· Draw up the site organisation chart and analyse the development of the programs of the needs of the subcontractors’ personnel, equipment and tools.
· Direct the implementation of the auxiliary installations and to organise the launch of the site activities.
· Ensure that the construction is carried out in accordance with the specifications and engineering plans.
· Direct the follow-up and planning meetings with the Superintendents and/or Supervisors to co-ordinate the work and make sure of the availability of equipment, materials, personnel, etc.
· Chair the co-ordination meetings with the Representatives of the Assembly Subcontractors to ensure that the activities performed follow what is established in the construction programs.
· Co-ordinate all engineering questions with the Project Leader and/or Head of site Engineering and customer’s representatives on site.
Requirements
Responsibilities · Make sure that no additional work is done outside the scope of the contract without having the previous written authorisation of the customer and the Project Leader.
· Co-ordinate the Mechanical Finish of the Construction and the precommissioning operations of the installations whenever necessary
· Co-ordinate with the Superintendent on all questions of Safety, Cost Control, Planning, Store and Subcontracts.

· Possess a broad understanding of each construction discipline.
· Effective leadership skills.
· Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
· Effective analytical and problem-solving skill
Languages · English, written and spoken; Spanish (preferred)
IT Skills · Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software, Lotus Notes, and other Company and discipline specific software applications
