Leading western production company (industrial pumps) opens a position of a Shop Superintendent Responsibilities:
* Providing direct supervision for production planners and methods and standards technicians;
* Maintaining all product production routings;
* Establishing and maintaining planning rules to be utilized such as determining reorder points and reorder quantities;
* Evaluating of slow moving and obsolete inventory and developing deviation, substitution, and consumption plans;
* Managing material receipts to meet production requirements and inventory goals;
* Manageing the phasing in of new or redesigned products and phasing out of obsolete products;
* Understanding and supporting all plant and company objectives and performing duties delegated by the Operations Manager;
* Revising production schedules to compensate for rush order priorities, material shortages, vendor failures or customer order cancellations;
* Expediting and de-expediting material to support Product Unit and Company objectives;
* Establishing and maintaining competitive pricing for all manufactured parts and services;
* Maintaining inventory accuracy via cycle counts, monitoring and performing physical inventory as required.
Requirements:
* Higher technical education;
* Experience of working in a production company as Shop Superintendent;
* Knowledge of hydraulic equipment (esp. pumps);
* Good English (will be required to go through trainings abroad).
