Recruiting agency IOTA Vostok is currently looking for experienced professionals for the position of Site Planning Engineer in a large oil & gas company. Key functions:
Monitoring and reporting of Contractors Scheduling and Planning activities.
Review and analyze Contractors scheduling and planning documents (procedure, etc) and provide practical assistance on planning methodology, techniques and best practice to Contractors counterparts on site.
Identify potential delays and inform Site Construction Manager and Project Planning Engineer.
Provide analysis and rescheduling with implementation of any corrective actions as required.
Prepare ad hoc Project Planning documents.
Monitor the progress and control Construction activities in liaison with Company Supervisors/Superintendents.
Organize and manage the site weekly reporting of Company including progress tables and/or curves.
Provide adequate detailed feedback to Project Planning Engineer for Project reporting and planning.
Support and enforce the HSEQ Project objectives and directives.
Accountabilities:
In charge of providing the Site Construction Manager with a clear vision of the Project current status and helping to assess the construction prospects with regard to contracts key dates.
Ensure a close relationship with Contractors organization; assist them to define/implement an adequate tracking and monitoring of the works progress and to plan in line with Project targets the remaining works.
Qualifications / experience required:
• Minimum 3 years in project construction
• Full proficiency in a hands on basis with Microsoft Project and basic knowledge of Primavera
• Experience in Project planning, good PC skills
• Good communication skills, excellent team player
• Fluent English
