Recruiting agency IOTA Vostok is currently looking for experienced professionals for the position of SPECIAL POINT SUPERVISOR in a large oil & gas company. Key functions:
• The overall function is to manage all construction activities related to the river crossing with particular attention paid to HSE matters
• Follow up and verify all documentations proposed by the Contractor
• Participate to the reception of equipment
• Follow up and verify compliance with technical specifications, drawings and procedures
• Manage construction (all) interfaces with others: contractors, operations, etc.
• Anticipate potential problems. Analyse and propose corrective actions.
• Supervise the preparation of the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities (organisation, procedures, etc.)
• Assist or issue in due time all reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, final reports)
• Contribute to audits of Contractors or Sub-Contractors in co-operation with the QA/QC department
Accountabilities:
• In charge of providing the Civil Works & Pipelines Superintendent with a clear vision of the Project current status and its perspectives
• Ensuring that all activities supervised are performed with the proper degree of safety and environment protection, in respect of Contract, purchase order, change order terms and conditions
Qualifications / experience required:
• Education/ Work experience in pipeline and river crossing: high professional technical education
• Minimum 5 years of work experience as pipeline supervisor
• Good technical background including design and equipment utilization in pipeline facilities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Deep knowledge of Russian norms and standards
• Fluent English (speaking and writing)
