Field Production technologist is a member of the petroleum/reservoir engineering staff, with the responsibilities for analytical work and implementing robust operating procedures in the field. General Requirements 7+ years minimum experience in Oil and Gas industry, preferably in an Operating Company. Wide experience in managing wells with ESP completions. International exposure is a plus Working level English is a requirement Suitability for a small Company environment Main responsibilities Perform ‘first line’ monitoring of wells performance based on the field data (SCADA, well-tests, well-maintanance team reports) to ensure over-all production levels are maximised on a daily basis; Artificial lift systems design, selection, maintenance and optimization; ESP failure investigation and analysis; Completion performance and sand/vax control; Participate in proposals for well interventions to increase oil production (workovers, wireline interventions, acid stimlations/treatments and hydraulic fracture jobs); Production system debottlenecking; Supervision of operation contractors; Water injection system maintenance and optimization; Vertical and horizontal well lifecycle optimization.
Technical Skills and Knowledge Proficient in standard and advanced oil/water/gas metering equipment Strong knowledge in well flow performance Software: Prosper/Pipesim/Perform/Subpump/Autograph, SCADA.
