Responsibilities:
The candidate must be a highly skilled Petrel static 3D reservoir modeller, able to start modelling immediately upon commencement of job;
The candidate must have recent experience in 3D seismic evaluation using Petrel software;
The candidate will strengthen company’s in-house 3D reservoir modelling expertise; develop modelling workflows, create multiple 3D static model scenarios, realisations and statistical evaluations, upscaling basis and application;
Provide support to the creation & management of the Development&Exploration Portfolio;
Assist in the planning, monitoring and evaluation of appraisal, development and exploration wells;
Geological data gathering and preparation for geological mapping, proved and expectation reserves evaluation;
Provide support to the Field Subsurface operational team;
Take part in a 24hrs drilling operational duty system;
Provide support to projects from exploration through to development stage;
Manage Russian, SEC and SPE reserves mapping;
Manage & QC specialist contractor work;
Assist the Lead Geologist and Chief Geologist;
Perform QC of colleagues’ work;
Liaise effectively with Shareholders, Russian Regulatory bodies;
Promote the Subsurface Team and the Geoscience Team in particular;
Train colleagues in advanced 3D reservoir modelling & 3D seismic evaluation skills;
Willing to travel to the field and various other locations in Western Siberia.
Experience:
experience in Production Geoscience;
3D reservoir modeling experience, using Petrel software;
3D seismic interpretation, preferably using Petrel software;
Development experience in siliciclastic depositional systems, sequence stratigraphic principles applied to modeling;
Proven training & mentoring skills.
