Overall description:
 Geophysicist will gain exposure to a variety of comprehensive 3D and 2D seismic interpretation projects within the licence areas of Western Siberian basin.
 Generally working on complex integrated projects of petroleum geological evaluations with particular emphasis on development and appraisal drilling efforts.
 You will have direct project participation as well as at higher levels (initiating studies, project framing, etc.) to increase the Company’s petroleum reserves base within established production areas and the identification of new prospective areas and plays.
 You should be innovative, manage demands and expectations from various stakeholders, accept diverse opinions and be comfortable working in an environment that seeks constant improvement.

Responsibilities:
 Execution of Production Seismology activities as part of integrated field studies, ensuring that risks and uncertainties are mitigated and properly reflected in models and workflows;
 Responsibility for the "geophysical dimensions" of the Company projects;
 Contribution to the overall technical and economical evaluations of Company projects;
 Recommendation of using the art seismic technology as it may relate to planning, recording, processing and interpretation of seismic-based models;
 Facilitation of communication to realise opportunities for synergy and transfer of technology;

Requirements:
 Higher education
 Significant experience with modeling of stratigraphic traps;
 Thorough understanding of 3D and 2D seismic reflection techniques, based on robust calibration with wellbore data, particularly with respect to interpretation and construction of comprehensive geological models;
 Experience with Petrel and/or Kingdom software
 Good English
