Requirements:
• Higher technical education
• Experience in carrying out construction risk and making safety evaluation
• Excellent knowledge of engineering design and document review
• Good knowledge of engineering standard codes and regulations
• Capability to carry out engineering Subcontractor management and control
• Experience in performing engineering technical bid evaluation
• Experience in carrying out equipment and material testing
• Knowledge of pipeline hydrotesting, pre-commissioning equipment and its techniques
• Problem solver, result oriented, forward-looking, initiative person with analyzing skills, teamworker with good communication skills and the ability to negotiate
Responsibilities:
• Managing technical aspects related to the pipeline Hydrotesting and Pre-commissioning activities
• Supervising the Hydrotesting and Pre-commissioning Subcontractors and to coordinate the specific work scopes
• Developing the technical documentation related to the Hydrotesting and Pre-commissioning activities defined by either the bid or project requirements
• Drawing up the operational schedule related to the Hydrotesting and Pre-comissioning operations in liaison with other function engineers
• Performing all the necessary calculations and verification to define the proper selection of material, consumable and equipment necessary to perform the Hydrotesting and Pre-comissioning operation
• Designing the temporary items to be prefabricated for the execution of the Hydrotesting and Pre-commissioning operation and follow up the fabrication process
• Evaluating the technical and commercial proposals received by the Hydrotesting and Pre-commissioning subcontractor and issue the relevant TBEs to procurement department to finalize the selection
• Attending meetings, both internal and with Client, to examine and discussing the technical aspects of the Hydrotesting and Precommissioning activity
• Notifying direct responsible employees and the Project Manager of any problems occurring with any other engineering areas
• Supervising the Hydrotesting and Pre-commissioning Subcontractor during both engineering and execution phases of the project
• Following up the Hydrotesting and Pre-commissioning activity on site for both the on-shore and off-shore pipeline projects
• Reporting to the Hydrotesting and Pre-commissioning Lead or to his direct responsible on either the project or bid organizations
