Territory Manager for Russia & CIS

Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager FSU, the successful candidate will be responsible for securing new business, reviewing all business aspects and recommending areas for growth and improvement within the assigned territory for all Measurement products

Candidates will have experience of building and maintaining key relationships with new and existing clients. This position involves a wide scope of activity and interaction with many key individuals and the role also involves travel in the assigned territory and to international locations.

KEY DELIVERABLES

• To monitor the flow of data concerning anticipated customer business
• Drive to improve Measurements market share with the various customer accounts.
• To call and/or visit customers to identify needs & solutions, establish buying cycles and to create the customer-supplier relationship
• To liaise with Purchasing, Engineering and Legal customer contacts at all levels and deal with the technical, commercial and contractual aspects of our business.
• To prepare and conduct sales presentations/reports to large forums
• Compile Sales opportunities & Forecast for each customer base and develop a strategy for achieving the forecasted goals
• Be vigilant of competitor activities and products
• Manage and work with our current representatives in all FSU countries and also seek out further companies to work within targeted areas.
• To secure orders taking into account delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment
• Manage, handle and track all large projects in the territory.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates will be educated to degree level, have a proven track record and experience in an external sales environment within the oil & Gas industry.

The Candidate will speak, read and write in Russian and English languages fluently, including technical vocabulary.

Candidates must also have the ability to carry out the required technical and commercial discussions to ascertain customer expectations. Whilst specific product knowledge relative to the measurement industry is desirable, training will be provided.

The successful candidate will have the ability to prepare reports and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients/customers.

Candidates must be PC literate and a good working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and the ability to rapidly develop, and then maintain both external and internal business relationships.
Candidates must be energetic, motivated and self-driven and able to work efficiently and independently.
Other skills required include commercial awareness, negotiation skills, analytical, decision-making, relationship management skills and the ability to prioritize and self-manage.
