Function

• Check topsides engineering from the risers to onshore pipeline end in terms of suitability for operation and maintenance;
• Check that engineered solutions are in line with topsides and export pipeline production availability targets;
• Ensure that hydrate prevention within topsides and export pipeline can be managed in a safe and cost effective manner and that all operating cases are covered, including unexpected shutdowns;
• Check that safety logic diagrams are developed according to oil and gas practices and complies with the requirements of safety aspects and hydrate prevention;
• Prepare operating philosophy for operations and maintenance of the topsides;
• Plan development of operating procedures;
• Define or approves choice of chemicals or hydraulic fluids to be used for topside operation and checks storage and logistics aspects;
• Define offshore production team manning, and prepares recruitment and training courses with HR support;
• Help in defining production operation software and validates functional specifications;
• Report to Pre-Operation Manager highlighting problems encountered in the performance of his duties.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in offshore production operations, preferably as field engineer;
• Graduate engineer or equivalent;
• Fluent in English.
