Our customer is an International Operating Company, currently undertaking a major oil project (upgrading of some existing process facilities) located in the Western Part of Siberia in Russia. We currently have a vacant position for an Oil and Gas Engineer with a significant experience in HSE – Construction Phase, to work on this project.
Your mission :
• To assist the RSES for the implementation of HSE rules of the affiliate with due respect to the regulations, for all site activities related to the project, in close cooperation with the site HSE team.
• To manage Operating, Construction and Drilling SIMOP’s
Key Responsibilities:
• To liaise with Site HSE team for all HSE matters common to the 2 project’s site.
• To manage the HSE organization on site for Construction Site and Camp Construction, Civil Works
• To manage safety personnel on site : project emergency teams ( fire & rescue team, oil spill response team)
• To ensure that Russian HSE rules and regulations are properly followed and applied
• To ensure that all personnel working on the Project facilities are trained in whatever fire / safety / health / environment protection courses as needed by Company safety policy and / or as requested by their department.
• To ensure compliance with Company’s policy in Health, Safety and Environment protection.
• To ensure the dissemination of safety information and feed back
• To ensure that contracting companies are working at an acceptable HSE standard and assist as required
Profile:
• Engineer grade; training in Safety and Fire Fighting
• Good command of both spoken and written English & Russian
• Minimum 10 years experience in safety and fire fighting operation at supervisory level in the oil and gas industry
• Used or ready to work in Arctic conditions
