Role Objectives:
- Manage resources and activities required for the plant and equipment maintenance and manage the repair of industrial and manufacturing machines and equipment,
- Manage and locally execute the sourcing of Process and Utilities Equipment in cooperation with Global Indirect Sourcing and Center of Excellence Leaders
- Supervise and Manage Equipment installation, start up and the commissioning
- Manage the facility security system and the security guards services,
- Manage all the site utility systems (ventilation, electricity, sewage system, gas system etc.)
- Manage all the site equipment, machines,
- Keep good and active relationship with the local authorities, Police, Fire Brigades, Civil Guards and the Municipality, Industrial and Environmental Safety Agency, other governmental agencies.
- Manage and optimize tooling activity for the local facility.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for scheduling, staffing, work planning, materials and space management to support plant and equipment maintenance including: basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, metalwork, engine maintenance, machine tool maintenance, boiler, waste water treatment, waste disposal, heating and cooling plant, electronic technicians and general maintenance. Shop Services including expense items and service contracts tool sand spares management,
- Safety of site employees,
- Responsible for safely use of equipment, systems, machines,
- Responsible for technical condition of equipment, systems, machines,
- Responsible for periodical testing of equipment,
- Responsible for safely work performance for higher risk operations,
- Responsible for fire and electrical safety,
- Responsible for buildings maintenance,
- Responsible for instruction of personnel,
- Responsible for findings’ close, control of remedial and correct action,
- Participate in EHS Qualification Commission as a member,
- Participate in Emergency Commission as a member,
- Participate in accidents’ investigation,
- Conduct safety inspections/audits,
- Approve and develop site documentation,
- Plan and arrange operational personnel training within the bounds of competency (welders, strappers etc),
- Work with contractors and subcontractors,
- Proper waste and chemicals treatment,
- Develop site documents concerning licensing, Hazardous Industrial Facilities’ identification and registration, Site Safety Declaration, insurance against a risk of liability to third parties while exploitation of HIF,
- Use of continuous improvement methodology and analytical techniques for problem solving,
- Supervise (Manage the Supervisors and Technical Staff responsible for) carpenters, plumbers, electricians, technicians, welders, mechanics and millwrights in the execute on of daily activities,
- Communicate and execute company goals, policies and procedures in the workplace,
- Team building/staffing,
- Preventive/predictive /corrective maintenance strategy,
- MMS development and use,
- BMS development and use,
- Office building interior design,
- Long term maintenance contract strategy / key vendor selection,
- Landscaping design and execution,
- Oversee equipment / machine installation/upgrade/redesign,
- Lead construction projects to operations hand-over,
- Oversee lifting and material handling devices,
- Accomplish investment projects related to FM,
- Further tasks not involved in this Job Description, that the immediate leader/manager assigns with verbally or in writing.
Decision making -
- Give leave for salaried and hourly workers,
- Stop the production on any machine in emergency case,
- Represent the site within the bounds of authority,
- Stop the job in case a potential accident/injury may occur,
- Remove workers from work place in case they don’t follow the EHS requirements
- Require to eliminate EHS violations (close findings) from site employees,
- Emergency director in case of a crisis during plant evacuation, fire or bomb alarm, industrial accident, other emergency situation,
- Tooling/fixturing replacement/purchasing.
Requirements:
- Technical degree,
- Significant experience as a maintenance manager in a commercial industry or power plant, experience supervising blue-collar workers (5 years +),
- Familiar with electrical and mechanical systems of industrial equipment,
- Familiar with managing security systems and security guards,
- Familiar with cutting tool application and material management basics,
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Russian and English, able to functionally communicate using written and spoken English,
- Strong understanding of work-in-process scheduling, work order planning, quality control, and material management concepts and cost control,
- Good near vision and reading comprehension, team player behaviour, safety oriented behaviour, consistently and fairly apply firm decision making ability, seek and maintain state of the art manufacturing facility, strong PC skills.
