Establish, build and maintain relationship and brand with customers. Lead, or actively participate, in appropriate Account Teams. Penetrate the customers’ organisation and build relationships with both the technical and purchasing dept at target customers, identifying and focusing on key decision makers. Facilitate executive management interactions at key customers.
Revenue / Volume Delivery:
Responsible for transactional activities at customers; price, volume and contract negotiations and using the relevant tools to record/manage these events. Responsible to develop annual customer sales plan, in line and in agreement with Marketing / Sales Management and track purchases to ensure delivery of revenue. Manage credit limit, exposure and DSO / ADD at accounts in conjunction with CFS.
Service:
Responsible for providing input for Demand Forecasts. Evaluate effectiveness of service offering vs brand image/BSS. Recommend changes and improvements as appropriate. Take the lead in managing customer product availability issues. Direct service quality issues resolution with ISC.
Revenue Growth:
Commercialise new product / technology / service offerings. Actively search for growth opportunities at key accounts and in the market. Ensure all are recorded and communicated for evaluation, prioritization and action. Help validate the opportunity and determine the value to Dow. Coordinate with Marketing on the search for unmet needs and help qualify the feasibility to address articulated customer / industry needs. Feedback consumption and technology trends at customer / markets to Area Marketing. Collect and communicate any information which will help our competitive intelligence assessments. Develop relationships with technologists and organize technology exchanges, champion development projects and ensure that DO&Gs R&D/TS&D dept. has the necessary access to technology decision makers / influencers within the industry and especially within our customer base.
Educational Requirements:
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Oil & Gas related scientific discipline. Languages: both Russian and English to high standard (spoken and written).
Related Job Requirements:
Upstream oilfield chemical and services experience or mid-stream refinery experience essential. Experience and demonstrated deliverables in business / sales development desired. Experience in other functions (R&D, TS&D, NBD) desired. Future candidate should possess high levels of initiative, must be able to operate independently but also be a strong team player, and be able to survive in an environment where all business rules and activities are not well defined but have to be developed as the knowledge of the customers’ needs and markets develops.
