Responsibilities:
• Define Contractor scope of work for their discipline
• Monitor work and overview performance by EPC contractors design: scope, technical quality, cost, schedule
• Developing and adopting the most cost-effective, fit-for purpose total project solution for the project.
• Monitoring the technical quality of engineering and design documents by doing spot-checks and participating in reviews, equipment and materials requisition, technical parts of contracts etc
• Participate in the development of the project integrated schedule, and assessment of physical progress
• Ensure adequate discipline staffing, supervises assigned personnel
• Identification of, and compliance with, requirements of Project execution plans, regulations, Company specifications and standards. Approval to deviations to Company documents
• Implement Change management procedure. Reviews and approval of technical changes and related cost and schedule impacts
• Ensures coordination with other disciplines, with Procurement and Construction, and between Contractors for discipline issues
Requirements:
• Higher professional education and additional training in electrical engineering (specialisation power engineering)
• 5+ years of previous professional experience in electrical engineering in refining, petrochemical, oil & gas industry
• Familiarity with HSE and RF Electrical Safety rules and regulation applicable to Petrochemical or refinery Plants, Labour Safety Regulations.
• Knowledge of fundamental operating principles of industrial process systems
• Good to Intermediate English
• Experience in international projects
