A large international company is looking for professionals to one of the biggest oil & gas project in Russia and invites candidates for [b]Senior Control & Automation Engineer [/b]position.
[b]Job requirements: [/b]
▪ Higher engineering education in Instrumentation and/or Control Automation Engineering
▪ 8+ years of experience under specialty of extensive hands on experience \practical work per the specialty (pneumatic, electronic, digital, PLC, DCS, F&G) in oil\gas production;
▪ A sound knowledge of the Maintenance, Engineering, Construction and Commissioning processes, Maintenance Strategies, Procedures and Practices; working knowledge of RF and International Standards
▪ Experience in design, installation, start-up, commissioning, and operation of instrumentation and control automation systems
▪ Knowledge of principles of design, installation, start-up, commissioning and operation of automatic process control systems; practical requirements to operation and maintenance of systems of quantitative and qualitative characteristics commercial measurement
▪ Knowledge of procedures and methods for production, processing and transportation of oil, gas and products of their refining; production activities metrological provision; procedures and methods of calibration and verification of measuring instruments and reference gauges used for this purpose;
▪ Experience in interaction with the state technical inspection and metrological supervision authorities, with design companies and expert agencies regarding instrumentation and control automation equipment
▪ Knowledge of fundamentals and principles of interaction with contractors and subcontractors; theory of electronics, monitor and control systems and fundamentals of electrical engineering
▪ English language (oral & written)

[b]Accountabilities:
[/b]
▪ Senior Control and Automation Engineer is a technical authority
▪ Develop strategies and procedures for maintenance of automation equipment, instrumentation and control systems
▪ Ensure implementation of the approved strategies and procedures at the Company’s assets level
▪ Participate in preparation of maintenance plans and programmes
▪ Identify needs for spare parts and consumables required for reliable operation of automation equipment, instrumentation and control systems of the Company’s production facilities
▪ Control the quality of scheduled preventive maintenance programmes, inspections and repairs to ensure their compliance with the highest worldwide standards
▪ Participate in the development of annual financial plans and budgets required to perform scheduled maintenance programmes with allowance for possible unscheduled repairs
▪ Liaise with manufacturers, contractors, certifying and inspection authorities regarding technical issues
▪ Ensure effective control over the process of production logistical support with spare parts and materials
▪ Investigate engineering malfunctions and technical failures and prepare detailed plans for their elimination, including drawing up spare part lists and estimation of labour costs
▪ Develop agreed projects for modification of automation, monitoring and control systems
▪ Participate in the development, review and approval of technical proposals, calculations, alterations in drawings and documents
▪ Provide technical and engineering support of start-up, commissioning and modification of instrumentation and control automation systems
▪ Participate in the development of requirements as to the qualification and training of the Company personnel
▪ Report on the results of day-to-day activities, make proposals to improve labour safety
▪ Provide technical support for new projects with regard to installation, commissioning and troubleshooting
