Job Purpose: To review and approve the specification, design and supply (by contractors) of static and rotating mechanical equipment (vessels and machinery) in onshore/offshore production facilities, ensuring that it meets project objectives, industry standards and best practice for safety, reliability and cost.
To support the development team in all aspects of complete power stations, compressor island stations, pumps, turbines and other dynamic equipment design (including the relevant auxiliaries and static equipment) according to engineering best practices and international standards. ROLE DEFINITION
Main responsibilities
Overall technical integrity of static and rotating equipment design
Selection of the best technical/economical solutions for production facility rotating equipment
Rotating equipment overall design integrity and compliance with international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practices
Key activities - Preparing vessel and machinery concept definition and basic design
- Evaluating contractor proposals
- Preparing vessel an piping project execution plan
- Execution monitoring
- Performing power stations, compressor island stations, pumps, turbines and other dynamic equipment concept design and/or detailed engineering design
- Preparing ITT documentation and bid technical review for rotating equipment
- Reviewing contractors rotating equipment design
- Supporting rotating equipment commissioning and production start-up

Education: Engineering degree or Technical Diploma
