This includes identification of materials used at more than one location to standardise on stock set-ups, and reviewing regular inventory status and stock management reports; • Follows upon the input of data into the stock management system (SALSA) to ensure accuracy. Includes ensuring there is no duplication of orders/requisitions or double input of information; • Carry out duties related to the coding of all maintenance and general materials, equipment and spare parts in accordance with the approved coding system. Assigns codes for new materials ensuring proper specification and part numbers are applied. Makes data entries to the computer system as required; • Carries out other similar or related duties such as, launching Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) on a regular basis (approx every 2 weeks), preparing statistical reports related to procurement progress, stock set-ups, answering and resolving queries raised by stores personnel at operating locations and maintaining own records of activities; • Participates in periodic physical inventories aimed at and ensuring that inventory reports tally with physical stock; • Issues procedures for standardisation and control of all materials, equipment and Spare parts for Company activities (creation of new item, movement of material, material stock replenishment, etc.); • Business trip at least 1 week per month.
Qualifications / experience required • Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical. • 4 year's experience in stores and/or stock / Material control within the Oil/Gas industry • Good Knowledge of software (Access & Excel) and computerised material control system. • Stock / Material Control expertise • Excellent practice of English (spoken and written), French will be a plus
